We’re a small team with a big ambition: to bring the grassroots sports community closer together. Everyone at The Clubhouse has their own connection to grassroots sport and a shared passion for supporting the clubs, volunteers and people who make it happen every week.

Gus Agostini,
Head of Marketing & Community

Gus is the Head of Marketing & Community at The Clubhouse, where he leads the launch and growth of its media, community and live events. Prior to joining The Clubhouse, he spent five years at sister company Mash Media, leading marketing for the Event Production Show and Access All Areas.

A passionate advocate for grassroots sport, Gus has been part of Old Wimbledonians FC for over a decade and currently manages the club’s Sunday 1st team, giving him first-hand experience of the people, challenges and communities at the heart of grassroots sport.

Roshan Bandara,
Head of Sales

Roshan is the Head of Sales at The Clubhouse, where he is responsible for building partnerships, attracting exhibitors and sponsors, and connecting organisations with the grassroots sports community. With over a decade of experience in business development, sales and relationship management, he is passionate about creating partnerships that make a real difference to clubs.

Sport has always been a huge part of Roshan’s life. He has managed grassroots football teams and proudly represented his national team at the VIVA World Cup in 2012, giving him first-hand experience of the challenges faced by clubs, players and volunteers.

Eliot Haynes,
Sales Director

Eliot is the Sales Director at The Clubhouse, where he’s passionate about bringing together people from across grassroots sport to share ideas, discuss the challenges they face and connect with organisations that can help. His aim is simple: to create a place where the grassroots community can meet, learn and make useful connections.

Eliot has plenty of grassroots experience himself, having played tennis, hockey and, most extensively, football for Corinthian-Casuals FC, Tolworth FC, Wallington FC and Ashtead FC. These days he’s trying his hand at golf... although that’s proving to be a slightly bigger challenge!

Tom Pople,
Content Writer

Tom is the Head of Editorial Content at The Clubhouse, where he researches, talks to and tells the inspiring stories of the clubs and people that make up the grassroots sports community. He spent five years as a Salesforce Consultant before earning his qualification in sports journalism and deciding to pursue his passion for grassroots sport.

Tom has played several sports at a competitive level, captaining sides in rugby, cricket and football and serving on the committee of his university rugby team. This gives him first-hand knowledge of the challenges and joys that come with running and playing for a grassroots sports club.

Natalie Green,
Operations Director

Natalie is the Operations Director at The Clubhouse, where she leads operations across its community and live events. With 15 years’ experience working across global events agencies and corporate settings, she brings a wealth of operational expertise to the team and plays a key role in bringing The Clubhouse and its events to life.

A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in grassroots sport, Nat believes every child should have the opportunity to play and be supported, regardless of their background or circumstances. That belief sits at the heart of her approach to helping create welcoming and inclusive experiences for the grassroots sports community.

Samy Shafeeq,
Head of CRM

Samy oversees data and business systems for The Clubhouse, bringing nearly a decade of experience across data, CRM, finance and business intelligence. Alongside his role as Group Director of Data & Business Systems at Mash Media, he helps ensure The Clubhouse makes the most of its data and technology to better understand, connect with and grow its community.

Sport has also played a big part in Samy’s career. Before moving into data and business systems, he spent five years as a Football Analyst at Opta, analysing live match data used by major broadcasters, sports organisations and football clubs around the world.
