The Clubhouse is the UK’s dedicated media, community and live events platform for grassroots sport, created to help the clubs at the heart of our communities grow, thrive and succeed.

Built for the volunteers, committee members, coaches and decision-makers who keep grassroots sport moving, The Clubhouse brings together practical advice, inspiring stories, trusted suppliers and proven ideas that clubs can put into action.

From football, cricket and rugby to tennis, golf, netball, athletics, swimming and beyond, grassroots sport is woven into communities across the UK. Behind every training session, fixture and competition are thousands of people giving their time to make it happen.

Our mission is to connect every grassroots sports club in the UK with the funding, people, knowledge, and corporate support they need to survive, grow, and make a lasting difference in their community.

Running a grassroots sports club has never been simple. Many are powered by passionate volunteers balancing club responsibilities alongside jobs, families and everyday life, often with limited time, funding and resources.

From finding new members and volunteers to securing sponsorship, improving facilities, embracing new technology and navigating safeguarding and governance, clubs across different sports often face remarkably similar challenges.

The Clubhouse exists to bring those people together, share what works and make running a successful grassroots club that little bit easier.

Through expert advice, inspiring stories and real-life examples from clubs across the country, we explore the issues that matter most to grassroots sport from funding, facilities and participation to technology, inclusion, sustainability and the future of volunteering.

At the heart of the community is The Clubhouse Live, our flagship annual event bringing together grassroots sports clubs, governing bodies, experts and suppliers under one roof.

Across two days of inspiring speakers, real-life case studies, practical workshops and conversations, visitors can discover new ways to grow membership, generate revenue, improve facilities, recruit and retain volunteers, strengthen governance and build more sustainable clubs.

But The Clubhouse doesn’t stop when the doors close.

Through news, interviews, newsletters, webinars, social media, club stories and year-round content, we’re building a platform where the grassroots sports community can stay informed, learn from one another and celebrate the people and clubs doing brilliant things across the country.
