£20,000 Fund Opens for Grassroots Football Clubs Across West Riding

West Riding County FA has partnered with sports equipment supplier Davies Sports to launch a £20,000 fund giving grassroots football clubs across its region access to equipment vouchers ahead of the new season.

Affiliated clubs can register for the chance to receive a £100 credit voucher, which can be put toward footballs, goals and other matchday equipment. Registration for the first round closes on Wednesday, 30 September, with the fund running annually across the association's full coverage area, spanning Leeds, Bradford and Craven, Calderdale, Kirklees, Wakefield, Selby and Harrogate.

Hannah Simpson, CEO of West Riding County FA, said the partnership was designed to remove a barrier many grassroots clubs face without extra support. "Grassroots football thrives when clubs have the right resources in place, and this fund will help ensure our teams have access to quality equipment to support players, coaches and volunteers throughout the season," she said.

Beyond the £100 voucher, registered clubs also gain access to a 20% annual discount, exclusive club pricing throughout the season, and free delivery on orders over £40, benefits designed to extend the fund's value well past the initial credit itself.
